Sex Sells, this is not a surprise for you I’m pretty sure… Every day we get bombarded by sexy advertising a little bit everywhere (tv, radio, internet etc…)
Extremely good idea from Diesel brand to push the fact that sex is selling for their new Denim marketing campaign for Spring 2010. No high class photography here just extremely teasing candid shots that almost seem to have been taken by the model them self!
I don’t know if you are like me but I’m not really looking at what they are wearing… lol even if I really like the jean on the 8 and 11 pictures of the set. the whole concept is making me forget that these pics are to advertise a brand. Maybe this is the new way to market and get in to people’s head… make them feel that you are not trying to sell them something and just give me them some nice photos that tell a story and that they can remember…





























There’s nothing new about this.
we all know that ‘sex sells’, the idea is not new but still works in the heart of the matter, model(s) get paid and become happy, the owners of the factories sell the product and become happy, buyers (we) look at the pictures and become happy
is it bad then?

I actually think it much better to promote something with sex instead of stupid and useless violence!

You’re absolute right in your comments Ariel. Of course the idea is not new, but as I see, this ad is just accomodated to the current circumstances in terms of people’s modern communication (boys and girls photographing themselves, and sharing these pictures, through the well known Facebook, Tweeter, etc).
